At the HSBC 2024 Spring Dinner on March 26, guests gathered for an evening of professional insights and cultural exchange. The evening began with a welcome address by Karen Wang, HSBC Macau’s CEO, followed by a global market outlook presented by Jing Liu, HSBC’s Chief Economist for Greater China. Liu’s talk covered topics such as China’s macroeconomic landscape, FOMC rate forecasts, the U.S. election, and Japan’s central bank policies. Additionally, Hong Kong feng shui master Mr. Kwong Tsz Kit offered his perspective on wealth trends for 2024-2043 from a feng shui standpoint. A toasting ceremony followed, and each guest received a gilded lion statue symbolizing “luck and prosperity” as a token of appreciation and a gesture of continued protection.
